Using a boat, you can reach it within 15 minutes. The thing is you should have prepared a fish rod. For the best catches, you can use fresh squids or shrimps. Make sure to cut them first! Also, it is better to come with local people. They may teach you about an efficient way of fishing.
Fishing and sightseeing are two primary activities in Bokor Island. What is next? It is island hopping. Bokor is near to some islands, especially Rambut. Thus, visiting nearby islands is a good idea. That means you must prepare more money for a speedboat. The price goes up on holidays, though. If you want a cheaper price, you should come in working days instead.
